From compact rectangular pillows to generous square cushions, this design offers a wide range of measurements. But a size name—or the pillow in a photograph—cannot tell you whether a cover will fit your own pillow. The most useful starting point is a tape measure.
01 / Measure before you choose
- Remove the cover. Check the pillow’s care label or original packaging for its stated dimensions.
- Measure both directions. Lay the pillow flat and measure seam to seam across its width and length. Do not stretch the fabric or wrap the tape around its thickness.
- Write down the units. Record centimetres or inches, along with whether your pillow is unusually full or shaped.

03 / Choose measurements over country labels
Shopping internationally can make pillow sizes confusing. A familiar name such as Standard, Queen or King is not enough on its own: compare the actual dimensions instead. Your bed size also does not determine the dimensions of every pillow on it.
For this design, square options include 40 × 40, 60 × 60, 65 × 65 and 80 × 80 cm. Rectangular options range from 35 × 50 to 50 × 90 cm, with several proportions in between. A broad size range gives you more choice, but it does not guarantee a fit for every pillow worldwide.
A pillow labelled 43 × 63 cm should be compared with the 43 × 63 cm option—not a similarly named size from another brand.
A pillow labelled 20 × 26 inches measures approximately 50.8 × 66 cm, making 51 × 66 cm the closest listed dimensions. Check fullness and any manufacturer guidance before choosing.
Very full pillows and contoured foam pillows may need extra attention. Do not force a pillow into a smaller cover or strain the zipper. If no listed measurement matches, contact us rather than choosing by guesswork.
